Would recommend for a concise stay

Charming lobby, attentive staff, with the hot tub outside being amazing and the holiday decor throughout the hotel being very well done.

we had a fantastic stay at destination by hyatt! our parlor suite on the 5th floor offered so much space and comfort, perfect for our needs. we loved the outdoor hot tub and the pool area as well. The room service breakfast was a highlight. delicious and satisfying.

however, the pricing felt a bit steep with added fees.

The outdoor hot tub was definitely the highlight of our stay! So relaxing under the stars! The room was cozy but could've used a little TLC, especially the bathroom. 🛁

Cleanliness left much to be desired!!! The noise levels from other guests were appalling!!! The pricing for basic services felt exorbitant!!! The facilities need substantial updates and repairs for a better experience!!!

the downtown area around the hotel is delightful for walking, with Tryst Falls Park just a short stroll away, making it easy to enjoy nature while being close to local attractions like the Excelsior Springs Museum, which is only a few steps from the hotel.

The charming lobby and relaxing fire pits provided a lovely atmosphere for our getaway, while the friendly staff made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

The historical charm of The Elms Hotel & Spa is captivating, particularly with its elegant ballroom and beautifully landscaped gardens, which are accessible and enjoyable for seniors. The staff were attentive and accommodating during my stay.

Extend snack hours for a better experience.

We had a fantastic time! The grotto was incredibly relaxing, and I loved the flavored water in the lobby. The dining experience was nice, but a little pricey for the limited options. I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely stay with great amenities

I recently enjoyed a two-night stay in a King room, and the highlights were the amazing outdoor pool and the exceptional spa services that left me feeling refreshed. The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive, making my experience even more pleasant. However, I was a bit disappointed that the restaurant's prices felt a bit steep for the quality of food served.

Spa vibes but needs work

We had a nice couple's getaway! The spa treatments were on point, and I loved the flavored water in the lobby. Rooms are kinda small, and the view wasn’t pretty—mostly an alley. The breakfast buffet didn’t wow me either, but the café had some great coffee. A bit disappointing overall with some service hiccups.
